I'm very grateful for the life I became a part of with SGT Rosa. When he and I met and got to know each other, it was as if together we conquered the world, and easily became one in the other, madly in love. I don't know where and when I lost his respect and admiration. I know I didn't do anything dishonorable to earn the opposite. We had a beautiful life together, for the most part, we lived off base, but practically lived on base cause we were always either at BAMC, at the PX, or the Navy Exchange, and the Commissary was nice to shop at when not at HEB. We loved to take our son and daughters bowling as a tradition, for every Halloween, to keep away from the hooting distraction. We chose not to celebrate the occasion but instead, kept it Christ-centered and family oriented. I still remember my son and I flew his first kite together at Ft.
