I am, the one and only, Mrs. Rosa

The one and only mother to & of Isaac, Emily, and Lysette.  The proud spouse of Retired US. Army, SFC Rosa Jr, Luis R.. One of the most rewarding gifts of life was to witness and enjoy sitting in my husband's Recruiting office in San Diego, California, watching him type away.

I clearly remember sitting by the window, with an end table to my left side, and our Christmas Ball picture up as he typed away.  And as he typed away, I patiently waited for him to finish so we could both catch lunch together downstairs at the food courtyard.

It was a nice little getaway for him I'm sure, but to me, it was such an enjoyment to see him work hard towards the much-wanted goal and to get us to sit together for the well-deserved 'Lunchow' in that one open airspace just for us.

He had wanted me to help file some documents once and I'm not sure If I ever got to do so, but I can almost say, I remember the filing cabinet and filing those documents. It was such a pleasure to do that for him at his office.

He worked hard and I had extra time on my hands, precisely to enjoy his company and thanks to him, to freely contribute in the making with the rest of his recruiting team.

Below I've attached a few pictures of our time in San Diego, California next to our greatest accomplishments, our very own son and two daughters.  You will find, we stood next to my inlaws, Mike and Rachel De Jesus.

I clearly remember those days for they reminded me of our secretary, Carmelita Davis from our Deerfield, IL, station.  Carmelita was a loving and sweet caring secretary at my husband's office.  She ended up retiring that same year and my family and I helped her move into her own apartment in Chicago.

Awesome times, grateful memories.
